A Year in the Life! ... of Elliott

New Year's Resolution #1256.  Blog more.  And live a more meaningful life.  So here goes!

Trying something new this year.  It's called "A Year in the Life".  My goal is to photograph babies for one full year at all stages.  I started this project just over a year ago with the baby of one of my long time friends.  She and her husband had this amazing baby named Elliott and I am so lucky to have captured his first year.  And let me just say, I'm somewhat enamored with this kid.  Any day I get to spend with this guy is a great day!  And this past year has been something wonderful!

Take a Look.....

Elliott - The Beginning...

Elliott - 3 months

Elliott - 6 months

Elliott - 9 months

Elliott - 1 year

Thank you  Haley and Sean for letting me be a part of Elliott's first year.  It has been so wonderful to watch him grow and I look forward to more hanging out time.  Love you and that sweet boy!

Only in West Texas...

A Trip to West Texas is just what the mind needed.  There is a certain beauty there that can't be found anywhere else.  The first photo is from the McDonald Observatory in the Ft. Davis Mountains.  We went for the magical Star Party.  I recommend it to anyone who hasn't experienced it.  On our trip from the Observatory we pulled over and I got this cool shot just outside of Ft. Davis.  A car drove by as I was taking it, leaving some nice lights that could be mistaken for some kind of UFO (or that's what I think anyway).  Now I am refreshed and ready to resume real world activities.....

And then there was Elliot.....

I may have gotten a little carried away with the number of photos I put in this blog post.  I can't help myself.  Elliot is here and he is perfect.  He was born to 2 wonderful people who are also good friends of mine, so I'm slightly excited.  Any day I get to see Elliot is a better day!  I'm just sayin' .
