I love Austin!

I love living in Austin. It should be called the 'creative' capital of the world. There are so many artistic people here. As a photographer, there is no better place. Come experience the art this weekend at The Ghost Room for the Austin Flea. www.austinflea.blogspot.com It is a fantastic way to spend a Sunday with local artists for unique gifts (early Christmas shopping), great music, food and drink. Well, what can I say? These girls rocked it with the flower petals this past weekend. I was lucky enough to photograph the beautiful wedding of Junie and John! There was so much love and emotion and we had an such an amazing time. Stay tuned, more photos coming soon.......

It is that time of year......

That wonderful time of year is here!!!! Blue Dog Rescue's calendar for 2011 is almost here. I am so lucky to be a part of this amazing project every year. One, Two, Three... Amazing!

Quite an ending to an engagement shoot. Junie and John made my day in a big way when they agreed to this! I can't wait for their wedding!

Happy Birthday Sweet Amelia!

I like to call this photo "The loving choke hold." (no animals were injured). My sweet Amelia is turning 6 today! She is one of the most amazing kids I've ever known. The best things about her: Her love of animals (as demonstrated above), her love of life and her love of me. Yes, I seem to be her favorite person at the moment. She also has an opinion about everything and doesn't hold back her feelings. I'm sure this last trait will come in handy when she's older (right)?
