Feeling Random!

Hurray for Holga. Holga is a cheap plastic medium format camera! (sounds appealing)? I carry my holga camera around all of the time. And then once every 6 months or so I get a bunch of film developed. These holga photos are random (to say the least), but I thought they were interesting and I wanted to share! Hope you are all having a good week! (the above photo is in California)

Christmas is almost here!

My kids are crazy for Christmas! Because of them, our house is one big ball of cheer! They gave me about 3 minutes yesterday to take some photos for Christmas cards. These are a few of those moments.

Who knew?

I have another obsession (besides photography). I'm somewhat obsessed with succulent plants. I just love the way they look (and the fact that they don't need a lot of water). My mom happens to have the same addiction so we decided to do something with that. We are combining vintage pottery with succulents to make these 'little bits of art'. We will have some at a great Austin event called Austin Flea on December 5th. Please come support us and other local artists. Think Christmas gifts!!!!! Go to austinflea.info for more information.

"Little Cupcake baked by the devil"

A friend of mine calls my daughter "A little cupcake baked by the devil".... (you know who you are). That is actually a perfect description of my daughter (pictured above on the right). She's an amazing little girl with a huge personality. She's fun to hang out with, super sweet and also a little devilish. So, the point of this story is that I think I met my daughter's personality twin. I had the pleasure of photographing Piper and it was a really great time had by all (right Heather?). She is full of life and just made me smile (and laugh) a lot!
