 Nicole and Tyler were married at Chateau on the Creek in Round Rock.  The wedding was beautiful and intimate.  Many thanks for having me as part of your day!

Cuteness overload.....

The colors of fall are upon us (even if the temps aren't quite there).  I love this time of year for so many reasons.  These two kiddos are making my long day of editing a little brighter! 

Okay fine, you can touch the lens....

Right now, my life consists of editing, editing and more editing!  This time of year is crazy mad... but I do love it at the same time!  (well, most of the time).  I am also shooting family portraits all of the time.  These kids were great to take photos of.  I couldn't resist the cuteness when this one came up to touch my 'beloved' camera.  One of the reasons I love this time of year! 

 

They're Getting Married!!!!!

 

Emily and Jeremy are getting married!  I'm really fortunate to be friends of these two.  Seems that there is a really good chance they are made for each other.  Emily and Jeremy have the sweetest love story (that I will share if they allow) and they will soon be hitched.  Can't wait for their wedding.  Thank you both for having me take these photos,.. I feel honored.

Baby Jason

I recently had an amazing day photographing a sweet baby named Jason.  His story is incredible and his little baby spirit is pure magic.  He might be the happiest baby I've ever photographed!  Lucky me. 

See what I mean.  He's just happy!  Here is his story in the words of his sweet mom Jocelyn.......

"Jason was born by emergency c-section on March 15th, 2013 at 10:06 am at St. David's Medical Center in Austin Texas.  He was 3 and a half months early(26weeks gestation) and weighed 1lb 10oz. Thankfully,  Jason proved to be a mighty "micropreemie" and did not require any surgeries or have any major complications, though he did have to work hard at learning how to breathe and eat on his own without the help of machines.  After a total of 111 days in the NICU, Jason spent his first full day at home with his grateful parents Jocelyn and Bradley,  on July, 4th 2013-- his own true Independence Day! "

Needless to say, I feel honored that I got to spend a special afternoon with this angel.  Here is more of the cuteness...

My Charmed Life...

Every so often, I get to step into a dream called Carnlough.  Carnlough is my happy place.  It's a small village in Nothern Ireland (pop. 2100).  and where I met my husband 14 years ago this summer.  Carnlough is part of the Glens of Antrim with beautiful rolling hills on one side and the sea on the other.  As I write this, I am lucky to be spending a few weeks in this very spot with family and friends that we don't get to see enough of.   My favorite things about Carnlough:
beauty beyond words
empty and beautiful beaches
cows lounging on the beaches
all of the Irish cousins together for the first time ever
village festivals filled with fancy dress parades (costume parties for kids) (our kids just happened to win this year with Declan Maguire and his Minions)
some of the best food ever.  The cheese, soda bread, chocolate, sausages are so much better than at home.
Freedom for my kids,.. they can run around so much more here
It is pure heaven......
